I would start by diluting bleach and scrubbing the concrete floor using a broom or a scrub brush. You might have to do this a few times if the floor is really bad. Hope this helps you. Good luck.

the product called Kiltz will do wonders. It is available at any store where you buy paint. its white so if you're not going to cover with paint , it's not what you need. Muratic acid can be used on concrete floors. Use with caution but it definitely works.

As a property manager I came across this a number of times. Paint the concrete with product meant to seal concrete pool. Only thing that totally blocks that smell.

You need to clean it with an enzyme cleaner specifically for cats. I like the dry stuff you mix up fresh as its much stronger, and why pay for water. This stuff is good, and get the black light flashlight as cat urine floresces so you can see exactly where you need to treat. https://www.amazon.com/Jackson-Galaxy-Stain-Eliminator-Fizzion/dp/B019YMYNR0/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1500089132&sr=8-3-fkmr0&keywords=Jackson+Galaxy+enzyme+cleaner

I'm a caregiver and former apartment manager and have encountered this numerous times. I usually spray anything on the walls, and put the stuff in my carpet cleaner and go over it a couple times, with change of water in the gray water tank between.

Thank you very much Sharon. But I threw the carpet away I need something that will eliminate the smell in the concrete floor so I can cover it with tile. This is about a 6ft by 6 ft area and the smell is very strong
