    Try JB Weld epoxy

Epoxy should do the trick. We use it on this customers trophy to glue glass cups to a plastic base.

Gorilla glue usually does well. Just be sure to use a little and follow the instructions

E6000, or a two-part epoxy. Both available at the hardware store.

Gorilla Glue is strong but use very little - water activates it - therefore, if you apply too much glue, it starts to bubble up in size and might be quite noticeable on your project. For "transparent" craft ideas such as this, I then use E6000.

I refinished a small side table recently which needed some wooden pieces glued together UNDER the table. I used Gorilla Glue which, as I said, bubbles up/increases in size so some of the glue oozed out. However, since it was under the table, the excess glue didn't show.

    Both glues work well!

Use Loctite Glass Glue. Here is the information I found...

The unique butyl formula provides a lasting bond that regular super glue can't. It bonds glass to glass and glass to other materials. Forming fast and durable joints, the bond is water and heat resistant to stand up to everyday use. Loctite Glass Glue dries clear, sets without clamping and is dishwasher safe.

E6000 holds a lot of surfaces dry well

E6000 - key is to let dry completely before next step.

I would use a silicone marine glue. It's made for wet and also it's used to make fish tanks. Works great with plastic and glass. You can get it at the home improvement stores.

I agree with Babette, the marine silicone with work really well and stand up to the soap and water. I have used it and other silicones for many things, but the marine is made to hold glass together for fish tanks and glass to hard smooth plastic should be no different. Much easier to use than runny glues and epoxy and you will be able clean up any that squishes out with a paper towel.

Hello. I might consider suggesting using epoxy putty it is used in plumbing projects projects. It will dry a light gray and can be painted.
