My grandma had this highchair in her basement for years. I always loved it, and finally she agreed to let me have it. My grandma picked this chair up from a garage sale in 1960, so its over 60 years old.
The chair had already been stained and painted a few times. The colors were pretty choppy all over, so I didn't feel bad repainting it one solid color. The tray also has a crack in it where it has broken apart and been put back together. I am looking into where I can find a replacement tray. As it is now, I don't plan on using it for every day meals, its more decorative.
I used a high quality wall paint (its what I had on hand) to paint over the chair. It was quick and easy. The next day a friend used it for her daughters first birthday smash cake pictures. It was adorable!
