I hung bamboo beaded curtains on all my windows. Do not buy the cheap ones tho. You want the 125 strands. I got them from Amazon.
Check your local hardware store for reflective film that you can cut and attach yourself. You'll be able to see out, no one can see in. Best of luck.
I made café curtains for the bottom and then I made a faux lead glass winder on the top with gallery glass paint with a pattern of their lead strips and clear glaze. I get all the light but no one can see in.
Semi-transparent contact paper or window film will shield you from prying eyes and allow light in.
Use a spritz of water to place it to your satisfaction, squeegee all the air bubbles out (I'd use a real soft rubber squeegee rather than the credit card this guy uses), then trim to fit.

as you can see you can make out the color green from the trees but no one can see in and the light comes in beautifully. They do have some patterns you can use as well as a huge variety of colors if you want to go that route

Agree with Karen, Gallery Glass is the way to go. I did my side windows by the front door with it, and I love them. They let the light in, but everything is distorted. It comes off easy as well.
decopage lace on to the window. It's simple, easy and looks great.
Cling window film comes in some great patterns.... I've had mine on 15 years.... https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_1_19?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=privacy+window+film&sprefix=privacy+window+film%2Caps%2C288&crid=16DA5LPW5ZDHG
