What are some projects you can do with old repurposed windows?

I was driving by an antique shop and there were several old windows (panes and frames still intact). They were very beautiful but I couldn't think what I could create out of them. They had been salabaged from an old house, along with the doors.

put pictures behind the glass and hang on the wall. Hang as decoration on a shed. That has no windows and hang a oblong or rectangular flower pot beneath and grow your favorite flowers in it. Paint on the glass and hang as art.

Hello Firefly, You can paint right on top of the glass. You could spray fake snow on the panes and hang it in your regular window. Make it look like Christmas in July. You could also stencil a sweet saying on them and hang over your bed. You could also use each pane as a frame for family pictures. Maybe stencil the word "Family" on one of the panes as well. Have fun with this treasure. Good luck.

Put mirrors in where the glass was for a really interesting mirror . Hang over a bed or sofa with a seasonal wreath in the center .

Place family photos in them, turn them horizontal and attach together to create a head board. Paint some out with chalk board paint and write a message in one or two , (funny, or loving...) place a photo or two of the happy couple or even remove the glass and replace with mirrors. All or only in sections. (your choice) .
