REPURPOSE: How to use small boxes?

I'm loving Walmart home delivery, but I'm getting so many good boxes. The large ones I've found uses for. But the smaller ones--and I'm already organizing my crafts in smaller boxes. i just need a bunch more ideas. Thanks!

Save them and decorate as Christmas presents for an outside display at holiday time!

Thanks @DonnaDMeadows. We have a wedding out of state right after Christmas so I am doing very little decorating this year. I may make a tree tower out of about six boxes this year. That's a good idea! Bless you 😇

I cut the lid parts off boxes and then stack my dvd's in them.

    1. Cut the flaps off of two boxes the same size. Use one box for the lid. You'll need to pinch the corners of the bottom box a little to make them go inside the lid box. Paint the lids pretty colors and use them for storage. Add a metal label holder to give the storage box a more finished look; attach it with paper brads.

    2. Cut some of them into 1 inch strips and use the strips to cover other boxes with a basket-weave pattern, then paint the finished "baskets" inside and out.

    3. Advertise them on Craigslist to people who sell on Ebay or Etsy.

    4. Use them to mold your own stepping stones, concrete blocks, or hypertufa planters.

    5. Seal them closed with tape and let your kids use them for building blocks.

    6. Look at "31 Things You Can Make With A Cardboard Box That Will Blow Your Kids' Minds" on Buzzfeed.

    7. Tear them up and put them in your compost heap.

Thanks @Martha! I've already picked #s 1, 5, and six. I wouldn't have thought of any of these. Bless you 😇

  • Would carefully cut the tops off them then wrap with paper or fabric and use anywhere I need to tidy up storage, sheets, blankets, towels, etc. If you have pets, you can organize their stuff in them too. Use as needed to wrap gifts or ship things, boxes are expensive at UPS. Cut flat and use in the garden for weeds. Organize the trunk of your car - jumper cables, first aid kit, blanket water, paper towels, etc.

Hang onto them---- the moment you get rid of them you'll need one

@Fiddledd224. Ain't that the truth? I got rid of 95% of my books from thirty years of teaching and collecting. I still miss them after seven years. And I miss my plastic rulers! Bless you 😇
