Turning a simple white vanity into a girly, bold statement piece

This is really an Amazon photo!

I forgot to take a darn before photo- but this was a simple piece that looked like this photo from Amazon. I silently hear white furniture like this crying for help.

The beginning

I started with one flower in the corner. This was freehand and I had no clue what I was doing with the rest of this piece. I just let my mind ( and paintbrush) go their own way.

I added a few more and kept my creative insanity moving itself along. Yes- I am insane for color. It's a problem.

Evolving..
The other angle.

So the top started to make me happy. But the rest of it was still white. Using Miss Lillian's No Wax CHOCK paint, I became a bit more inspired.

Onyx

Onyx is the blackest of black paints. I'm in love with it. The adhesion was wonderful.

I love black and white when you have bold colors to balance out. Here are some more shots

And she's done!!

The Polka Dots are Miss Lillian's too! I used a spouncer from Michaels and touched up the dots with a tiny brush.

Thanks for following Tamara Lee Designs. You can find more of my pieces on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and Etsy. Cheers!!

LOVE! I have a couple of small pieces that I'm trying to get the ideas and oomph to do - that and time (tooooo many projects going on!) BUT this may have just inspired me to get a wiggle on and just do it! Thank you - its adorable!

    • Thank you Abbie! I get like that too, sometimes. I hope you get your "oomph" back and I'm so happy to hear that this might inspire you a bit! 💕
