Ideas on how to store small bloats of fabric so I can see what I have?

Use varying sizes of clear plastic storage bags. They are great for organizing just about anything. Clear vinyl bins would also work.

Although I use plastic storage boxes in my cellar it sounds like you have a more "upscale" situation. Are the measurements for the entire closet or just the space for the bolts of fabric? Since you have a door, I would arrange some sort of shelving. The fabric need not be boxed if there is a door.

If your bolts are on rolls, get a bin or tall laundry basket and stand the bolts up in it. You may also use a tension rods between the space and lay the folded fabric over. Hope this helps

I understand what your aim is but I don't understand about the space you say you have available. 63" X 25" is really quite a lot and it has how much depth? Maybe you could get the plastic storage units, suggested to you, stack them on their sides and atop one another and then store the bolts of fabric, inside them? It might help if you could show an example of the bolts, how many you have and the space you are talking about. In my local store that sells fabric they have them on t heir ends, on their sides etc.

They are also called storage bins or "totes." ones with a bit of flexibility seem to hold up better. You can find them in discount stores, craft stores, dollar stores, wholesale membership stores, some dept. stores. . .

Hi, I don't do a lot, but when I do I have made a king size quilt, a queen size and several lap quilts. I also have been making backpacks to carry oxygen bottles. I found it easier to carry the bottle on my back that way my hands are free.
