This is a temporary glass coloring that is perfect for any color burning light. My light is an outdoor LED so it doesn't get hot. It was quit and easy to do and gave me a result that looked like hand blown colored glass.
Clean and dry the glass panels before starting. Make sure that you are working in a well ventilated area. Pour out the needed mod podge into a container. Add a few drops of food coloring.
Mix mod podge and food coloring thoroughly . (More food coloring can be added to achieve slightly lighter shade than wanted is achieved as the mod podge will dry darker.
Paint the glass panel with a nice even coat. Make sure the coat is even however for a more realistic hand-blown effect thicker areas are fine, as are air bubbles.
Set the panels aside to dry. Let dry completely. This could take some time or go very quickly depending on the weather.
The finish project Looks wonderful day...
... and night. This is only temporary and will come off with hot water and scrapping. Remember to us only bulbs that do not produce much heat.
