Space near a bed- Any creative ideas?

In the kids room we have a small space between the bed and the wall. We were thinking of adding a small shelf and will be glad to get some creative ideas. Thanks!
I could see this space as housing a narrow trash can (that would be safe from being tipped over) or housing an enclosed trash bin. They also make narrow storage containers (often used in small bathrooms or in-between the washer and dryer in laundry closets/rooms) that have roll out drawers.
looks to me like a pallet cut down would be perfect and you could use it as a bookshelf or lamp table

you could adapt the rolling shelf idea (used as a pantry in the space between the fridge and cupboards) to store things like my little pony, hot wheels cars, books etc

I think placing the bed in another direction and yes add a full length window storage seat with cushion on top and drawer below to hide toys etc

i would put a folding TV tray or two in that space. Good for a snack, crafting, writing notes, etc., if there is no room for a desk. 😇💖
