Inspiration is a huge tool for both Sam and I, as we navigate through our Zest it Up world. Yes, Pinterest is typically a dangerous Mecca that can absorb hours of time in one fell swoop! However, sometimes I need a tangible board that can help me prioritize and keep me inspired (without having my laptop open icon ). We decided to remodel our masonite board into a bulletin board!

Supplies:
  • masonite board, cut to your desired measurement
  • fabric, cut to measure a couple inches larger than the masonite on all 4 sides
  • staple gun
  • staples
  • batting
  • hammer
  • upholstery/furniture tacks
  • clear tacks (for pinning your inspiration pix!)

First, staple three sides of the fabric to your masonite.  Make sure to keep the fabric smooth and slightly taut.

Step two is to do a miter fold on the corners and then stuff the board on the open side (the 4th side that you have not stapled yet).
Last step is to staple the 4th side closed and get ready to hang the board.

Once you hang it (I just nailed the four corners to the wall), use some upholstery or furniture tacks to create a quilted texture. I love the gold accent it gives my board!
I am LOVING the finished product!  Nothin’ like a little inspiration for my inspiration! LOL
xoxo,
Chanda
