Have you tried alcohol. I live in Michigan and rubbing alcohol removes pine sap. Lestoil is another method, I understand, but I personally have not tried it. Good luck.
Rubbing alcohol, rub with a cloth from both the inside and out of the material (at the same time). Hand sanitizer also work in the same way.
Rubbing alcohol! Just test an inconspicuous spot on the clothing first to make sure it's color safe. You may need to first apply ice to totally harden it if the stain is thick. Once frozen, carefully scrape off all you can without damaging the fabric.
As a last resort, I would ask a person that works at a dry cleaner co. They may have a solution, that we as consumers can't get. Best wishes, J.
I'm going to echo- rubbing alcohol should do the trick! Good luck :)
I think lestoil is more convenient for grease stains but I didn't think about rubber alcohol . I will try it. Thanks for your help.
Sterilising solution such as Milton with about 5% chlorine will remove wisteria stains from white cotton clothes. The deeper the brown, the more times the solution should be sprayed/poured on. It will take a few minutes and the area treated will appear to go a light shade of blue. Wash immediately in hot water with a detergent like 'vanish'. Rinse and dry. The stain and blue will have gone.
Obviously don't try this on coloured materials.
