Hello everybody.
In today's video I will show you how to create a faux wolf fur (cruelty free) to add some coziness to your inner space/room
The materials you will need:
faux white fur fabric
dark grey fabric paint
fabric/all purpose glue
non slip mat
Spread the fabric up side down, and with a sharpie start drawing template of wolf rug. remember, its not have to be exactly like rug you saw after all it has biomorphic shape.
cut that out
When its still up side down add the non-slip mat underneath and copy your template so you will end up with 2 similar shapes (the faux fur & the non slip mat)
Now start paint the fabric with the dark grey paint ( the best way to explain how to paint for getting the wolf fur effect is to watch the video! ) and used hard brush stroke from the spine out
After painting the fabric let it dry for a bit and when its dry turn it up side down again and glue the non slip mat underneat and let it set for an hour.

I have some beautiful long Faux Fur. I have made beautiful coats. The problem I had was the shedding of the cut edges. Any suggestions as to how I can stop this from happening?

First, when you're cutting, make sure you only cut the backing fabric and not the "fur." You can even use a comb to part it.
Then any good glue on the back along the edge should hold it. Once it's dried, take outside and give a good shaking to lose any stray strands.

Since it's used on the floor, and it's white, is it washable?

The killer with faux fur is not the washing, but the drying. It can not handle the heat of the dryer. You may want to wash the rug by itself on a delicate cycle the first time. Then you can see how the faux fur as well as the fabric paint you use, hold up to the washing. I would definitely recommend only air drying though. Good luck with it!

What kind of fabric paint should I use so that the fur doesn't get matted together?

She's saying that the technique when painting the fur with the fabric paint is what matters. She didn't specify a brand/type of fabric paint. Only the "hard brush stroke from the spine out" with whichever fabric paint you choose to use.
