Are you constantly getting your ear buds tangled up in knots? Need an easy way to keep them handy? Make a cheap and easy DIY ear bud case – and you get candy to boot! (And these make excellent teen presents, too!) What’s not to love about this project?

This project uses an Ice Breakers Sours container, washi tape, and a lobster claw key ring (affiliate). The lobster claw hook makes it really easy to attach this holder to a backpack, belt loop, or purse.
I took all the labeling off an icebreakers sours container (affiliate).
I decorated the 2 lid openings with washi tape, then trimmed off the excess.
I trimmed the tape with scissors.
I drilled 2 holes in the side of the container and threaded the key ring through. (See exactly how we made the holes and threaded the ring through in my post...)
I added the lobster claw hook to the key ring so it is ready to hang on a backpack, belt loop, or purse. Then simply wind up your ear buds and store them, tangle-free, inside the case.
This was easy and cheap, so I made one for each of my teenagers as stocking stuffers for Christmas. They loved them!
