If your sago palms are making pups, they're not male. Male sago palms bear cones.
See if you don't find this informative:

It could be that they are not male in the end-
They have cones like a male
Thank you
Ok, I see a lot of people have bad information. Male sagos do have pups. I have seven very large sego palms. One is a male, The rest are females. My male has the biggest pups.
The male put on a very tall p***s shaped cone. The females put on a large circular cone filled with seeds. The seeds are roughly the size of a hickory nut or walnut.
They all bloom every two years. The male productive Organ, I cut in half when it blooms , freeze it for the next year.
The photo on the left depicts the pups on my Male this year. His pups are bigger I guess because he was not on a blooming year.
The photo on on the right depicts one of my females in full bloom, filled with seeds.
Hope me this helps people understand their palms.
