Unfinished basement cracks & mold mildew issues. Help!

Answered
We have an unfinished basement that has some cracks that let water in. And a sub pump so if the power goes out it's a mess.
How do I fix the cracks and prevent spillage from the sub pump?
Great space wasted because everything gets ruined down there with water or damp basement mold.
Cant afford a company to seal it up.

Maybe you should call in an Engineer, because there could be some sort of movement.

there are pumps that use water to send water out again..no electric needed......initially about $150. or so but never have to worry again or when away from home.

If the cracks are in the walls you can seal them with hydraulic cement. If they are on the floor you will need a professional to install a perimeter drain system to divert the water pressure to the sump. To prevent sump pump overflow during as power outage you can install a battery backup sump pump or have one installed.

We did a drainage system a few years ago. And the road was fixed so we are not flodded every month but the sub pump is a problem. I'll watch and see if I can get any more hel.
