Certainly a project! Make sure you really want to go that much smaller on the window before you purchase. Here are a couple links to get you started. If you have any doubts, hire a licensed professional to help you. Safety first! To safely handle a 6' window you are going to need at least 2 people and some form of a scaffolding/platform.Helpful Reply-

Oh and tape that window in multiple directions so if it breaks, you don't get cut and aren't picking up glass for a year.Helpful Reply -

I would also tape that window in several directions in case it breaks, you want it to stay together as much as possible for safety and not having to pick up glass for the next year. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUJ-M5Alvp0https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPajWFkXhEIhow to prepare for smaller window.... https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=how+to+replace+a+window+with+a+smaller+windowHelpful Reply -
