Yarn storage ideas?

I have been buying a ton of yarn (getting ready for winter) ~ is there a way to store it without letting moths get to it?

I used Rubbermaid tubs/bins with tight lids.
I would get a tight sealed rubber made bin. This is how I store all of my yarn.
Add cedar balls or Mth balls
Large rubbermaid bin .
I always save the large zippered plastic bags that new comforters come in to store mine. You can also use plastic storage bins with secure lids.
Any large plastic container with a snap-on lid (including a garbage can) and add some moth balls or cedar wood chips (or both)
I thank you all. I buy the square boxes from Michael's that are about 12x12x 2" as I can see each skein....wondered if there was anything better....at this stage I have a wall of boxes.....ha!
But if the yarn is in a garbage can, how can you see what yarn you have in there plus it would take on that yucky "plastic" smell.
