When my sink would do this, and I got a small snake and cleaned it out and haven't had one problem in 8 years since I did. It was mostly slimy disgusting hair.

You will need to rod it. The clog is somewhere further in the line.

had same problem with my kitchen sink-had to finally call a plumber to snake it out and cost me almost 200 bucks!!! you wouldn't believe how much snake he had to push in before it unclogged-you can rent a snake but I advise to call a plumber

You can buy a snake with a hand crank that would be all right if you go through the sink, especially if you think the clog is still under the house. 😇

Just a thought try pouring a 2 liter of coke down the drain...or baking soda and vinegar...tried them both and they helped

my grocery store had a special drain clearing product for $5 that was guaranteed to unblock drains clogged with hair. That is probably what's blocking a bath sink from shaving, hair combing, etc.I think was made by Draino, but wasn't the usual stuff. Another home I found baking soda & white vinegar did the trick with the bubbling that happens when they are mixed. Both methods safe for all pipes. Good luck!
