Lynn, we just had a pergola built on our deck. Aren't they great? I always use the curtain rings that have clips on them. You can find them most any place.

You can take clips that go on curtains and run the holes that you would put through the rod on some rope instead.

all good ideas! I know you said no rods, but if that is because of brackets and holes, you could also use pvc pipe with Command hooks or tension rods. If the gazebo is steel, you can use magnetic rods.

Without rods, you're going to have to use something like the outdoor Command hooks and your sheers will need grommets the size of the hooks or else you'll need another hook or ring to make the size adjustment. Of course, they will not be able to be pulled open. However, you could do the something similar and add a length of painted PVC hooked in the Command hooks -- and then the sheers could hang from that and be moveable. Just sayin'.

Ok get the picture hangers that stick but can be removed by pulling tab.(Scots I think). Now if you want it gathered use strips of the same fabrics, scarves, or ribbon to bunch it to get her and hang the fabric. If you want it spread out stiffen with thin plastic (like some crafters use for cleanx covers or boneing like a dress or corset uses.) A narrow strip at top can be used to stiffen and hang from.
