Although Infused oils are not hundred percent pure, if made using the proper technique, they can be very effective. Orange Oil is known for its uplifting and energizing effects. I mix Infused Orange Oil with my Infused Lavender Oil to create an anti anxiety blend. I also use Infused Orange Oil in a spray cleaner to leave your house smelling citrusy and clean!
Begin by gathering your supplies:
Mason jar with lid, dried orange peels, pot of water, piece of wire mesh, piece of tinfoil, carrier oil, essential oil bottle.
To dry the orange peels, I recommend leaving them out on a plate for a week or so. If you are in a hurry, you can place inside oven on low heat until completely dry.

Place dried orange peels inside the mason jar, and cover with your carrier oil until just covered. I used Fractionated Coconut Oil which is edible. Therefore, you can add to your baking for some extra zip, or a glass of water to energize your drink!
Next you want to boil the water in your pot on low heat. Once it's nice and hot, place the tinfoil and piece of wire mesh inside the pot. This will give a little space between the bottom of the mason jar and the bottom of the hot pot.
You will place the mason jar and orange peels inside the boiling water, which is set to low. Allow to simmer uncovered for about 1/2 hour.
Remove the mason jar, and allow the orange smelling wonder to cool on a hot pad. Once cool, cover with the lid and keep in a cool, dark place for about a week.

Strain the Infused Orange Oil into your essential oil bottle and keep for use in your baking, have in a glass of water, and/or use to lift your spirits in your diffuser. Can also be used topically on your skin; rub on your feet, or massage on your shoulders and back for an energizing vibe. ENJOY!
