What is a quick way to clean artificial flowers, besides washing in water, can I put them in washing machine?
my mom purchased a silk flower spray cleaner in Michaels.
This is how I wash mine...I put some water and a dab of dish soap (dish soap that cuts grease) in my kitchen sink...not too much and then I lay the flowers in the water and leave them for a half hour or so. Then I rinse them off with my sink sprayer and lay them in my dish rack in opposite side of sink to dry. It also depends on how small the flowers are whether or not this would work.
Here you will find many different methods. http://www.wikihow.com/Clean-Silk-Flowers
Soapy water dip them and gently swish around hang to dry.
Swish them in sudsy water, rinse thoroughly and let dry.
I use Woolite laundry detergent. I put Woolite with warm water in my kitchen sink and gently wash the flowers and then rinse them with cool water. I put them on a dish cloth to dry. I've done this for years and it works very well.
I put salt in a lunch paper bag or bigger brown bag. shake shake and shake. Take it out side to get the flowers out!
