My bird baths are getting old and very porous, is there something you can paint them with to make them easier to keep clean. I know you can add apple cider to them, but that isn't enough to keep them clean

You can clean them really well and seal them with a concrete sealant purchased at any home improvement store .

I bought a brush on terra cotta sealer glaze at my local nursery, ($7) to reseal my bird bath. It is easier to clean up now and looks better.
Sounds like it needs to be re-sealed adn then you should be set! Good luck, keep us posted!!
Thanks I will round up some sealer next trip to hardware store and try on one at a time
