If its a fitted sheet , you can use it as a tablecloth on fold out table . Flat sheets can make tents for the children or cut up to make cleaning rags. Or you can donate them to a homeless shelter and they would be eternallygrateful .

Are they 'pretty'? If so, you could use them to make stuffed toys or dolls clothes. I have used sheets as lining for curtain/blinds and the holding layer when recovering furniture. They could be used as the backing for quilted items (placemats, pot holders), made into bows for garlands, use them for paint drop cloths or rags

If you have no immediate use for them except to store until later, donate them to a local animal shelter. They always need sheets, towels and blankets for their cages.

Donate them to Goodwill or a re-settlement facility. Keep them on hand to fill an as yet, unanticipated need. Don't worry about using them right now, clean folded sheets don't take up much room!
