What grade sandpaper do I use to distress chalk painted furniture?
Paining a bedroom set and want light distressing.
It looks great! When using chalk paint I wait for the paint to dry and I distress it by using the corner of a wet sponge. You can use Mod Podge but I would recommend a clear wax such as Johnson's floor wax as a finish. Like your floors, wax and buff. It will give you the shine and protection you are looking for.
I think it looks just fine, Naresh.
I think it looks lovely. Very authentic patina look.
I LOVE it! It looks distressed and rustic! You could add a coat of spray poly if you want to add some shine to it but if it were me I would leave it as is! Do what you think is best!
I love the color and the distressed look......good job!!
I like it just the way it is, great job!
Looks great. I would use a wax to help preserve it.
I think it looks great! Keep doing what your doing
I love it! Wouldnt change a thing!
Looks fine. Leave it and then you can repaint it when you change your color scheme.
It looks great with the dull finish. True distress look doesn't shine.
