Dining room before and after. It's amazing what a little paint and elbow grease can do. We painted the walls and trim to lighten and brighten our dining room. Once again, we are pleased with how much different it looks. The yellow that was originally in the home seemed a little dreary. We wanted to brighten it up! New floors and paint makes a statement when changing the look of the room!
We ripped out the old carpet ans padding. We had Lowes come in and replace. Once the flooring was completed we began the painting. We didn't remove the base boards or trim. We just carefully painted.
This picture is before we pulled the carpet out, painted the walls and changed the lighting.
This is the photo that the sweet woman who sold the home used to list it. We knew immediately that we'd make this crazy color light and bright.
After
I love the way it opens up the space as well. It makes the room have a deeper appearance. We are remodeling out entire home. Check back for updates! See you real soon! I appreciate you following along on our remodeling journey.
