How to do a makeover for our small round plastic patio table.

Look up surfaces redone with paint sticks! You can possibly even get them free. Can do various finishes, bright color, rustic, or just varying wood tones.

I would hit those pieces with some rustolium outdoor spray paint ....then maybe get a mosaic tile kit....that would look beautiful on the table top!

There are a lot of youtube videos on redoing tabletops - some with pennies and epoxy. Definitely paint - maybe something colorful.

You could go really crazy and break up a coup!e of mirrors and do a mosaic and seal with epoxy. There are so many paint options on the market now. Metallic, hammered look, etc. Go to a big box store and check them all out.

Stencil would give it some appeal instead of just painting.

How about marbleizing paint, mosaic, or stenciling?

rustolium for plastic.. a few light coats. beware of the wt on the top. the plastic is flexable and tile etc may be to much wt on it. the stenciling idea is a good one.

Cover it with contact paper.

Sea glass pieces atteched to top. Would be beautiful.

sand lightly first and than above sug.

Definitely clean and sand lightly before any application, to make sure whatever you're applying will have something to adhere to. Color is the least intensive, biggest bang for the buck, and you can always add another embellishment later. I would suggest a bright contrasting color to wherever you have it located, or a neutral to blend it in if you have another piece that is already the focal point of the space.

I see a Penny table top in your future...contemporary and super attractive. Use a mixture of coins or just pennies..mix it up. Good Luck

Paint top white legs dark grey. Using painter's tape and ruler Mark off game board checkers or chess maybe tic tac toe. Either square it off and paint or paint over entire surface with your favorite decorative color.

I would spray it black satin not gloss the entire set and add seat cushions in black and white stripe and add a round outdoor rug and plants and you have a new seating area That's classy
