So my plain bathroom is not only small but out dated and U-G-L-Y! I was so tired of looking at it to the point where I decided to upgrade it but the struggle was real, I only had a $100.00 budget, and guess what ... that is all I needed.
Step 1 I measured my bathroom mirror, by length and width. Then I headed to Home Depot for crown molding and paint. This mirror was the first thing that I knew that needed upgrading.
Step 2 I purchased crown molding from home depot using the measurements I took. I cut the molding down to size inside the store. I also purchased liquid nail and small washers to help frame out the bathroom mirror. In this photo here I have everything I need. I am using a Rustoleum furniture transformation kit, details about this kit will be in the video footage. In this image I am using the deglosser from the kit, I am removing the shine from all of the boards.
Step 3 In this image I am adding the top coat which is a paint/ varnish combine, it gives you and easy nice full coverage so be very light handed a little goes a long way. Please see video for better details.
Step 5... I Hate to say I told you so.... But I did. I completely upgraded a very outdated builder grade bathroom and made it look like a spa or hotel bathroom. It went from Blah to Chic! PLEASE SEE VIDEO FOR CLEARER DETAILS.
