Headboard Becomes Cool Pantry Storage
Transforming the headboard into a storage unit took only a few simple steps:
1. Turn the headboard upside down.
2. Attach a wire shelf (vertically) to the back to create a bin.
3. Cover a board with contact paper and attach it to the top (which was the bottom). Use the same contact paper on what is now the bottom shelf.
4. Apply washi tape.
That's right, I didn't even need to paint the headboard.Everything I needed to complete this project I had on hand so the total cost was $2.50. Do I love it? Yeah! I can finally see what we have on hand in canned goods, store six-packs of soda in the bin, and have a few cubbies for laundry supplies and dog food (in the plastic bin).

what a FABULOUS idea! I will be on my look out for just this type of head-board! Or maybe I'll just build one, thinking of redoing my laundry room with shelves for all my small appliances. This would be just the thing! Thank you so much for sharing your gifts with us. CRAFT ON!
