**Scroll down to see the video**I have struggled at times when it was shower time. My dog is pretty good when she needs a shower. If the water stops for a split second she is ready to walk away. Making this shower helps free up both hands and pretty much wet her entire body at one time. If this seems like something you'd like to make I’ll take you through the steps I took to make his shower. Be sure to check out the video for more details. No glue was used for this rig it’s all dry fit, this way you can break it down and store it.
Are you still looking for some fun ways to add a little halloween decor to your front porch and yard this year? I've got a great DIY for you!Take a pvc pipe from the plumbing section of your local home improvement store and turn it into some fun characters for halloween!Start out by creating a pattern for your PVC. I have created patterns for many different types of birds and animals, plus 2 cute little PVC kids. I've also created patterns for Christmas and Easter, but for halloween, I made a skeleton, a ghost and a pumpkin. If you want to get my patterns or see what I all have available, you can check them out at www.CrazyDiyMom.com
Before this house, I’d never lived anywhere that had a real mudroom. And although our mudroom is small, I just love it - especially since we've recently revamped it.The first issue we tackled was shoe storage (which, let's face it, you can never have enough of).We started with an ugly little shelving unit that came with our house. Apparently, the old owners didn't want to take it.And actually it fits perfectly between the back door and the mudroom's north wall.
I'm sharing with you my favorite way to feed my houseplants. Here's how I use worm compost & compost to nourish my indoor garden plus good things to know about how they work, when to do it & more.
About 5 yearss ago we added a rock patio to our back yard. I say we, but my handy hubby, Clay, did most of the work. Those rocks were heavy! ;) I did add my opinion here & there. Hey...that's important. :) We had this little unused section of the yard between the deck & the house. It just needed something!
We just completed a makeover on a home near Nashville, Tennessee with Lowe's. It was a chance to give a home a fresh new look for spring after a very harsh winter.
The home owner was wanting to add new shutters to their windows, so we built them some board and batten shutters.
When we bought our house a year and a half ago, we knew that we had a lot of work ahead of us. We have a little ranch style house that sits on about 1.5 acres. You may even remember THIS post about the time we repainted our house, which was quite an undertaking! Well, this spring we wanted again to tackle another eyesore on the property and create a little area to sit by the front of the house and watch the kids play. Our kids like to color with chalk and play with the neighbors, but we always had to drag our back patio chairs up front to sit. So let’s take a look at our total Farmhouse Shed Makeover and how we turned our old shed into something that looks brand new for under $500!!I love a good before photo…so let’s take a look at the before:
Is Halloween a big thing for you? I would love to create a truly spooky scene in our garden but when there are little people living in your street it's probably not a good idea. I would hate to be the cause of them having nightmares. So we usually decorate on a small scale. This year we created a this little Halloween love story..........
I have a small laundry room that is the only access to my back deck and yard. I’ve lived in my home now over three years now and just hated the mess of open shelving and various brooms and mops showing. It’s a small room with no options of adding more space, so I decided to use the 18” of space between the dryer and open shelving. I decided a rolling broom closet would be the perfect solution. And I decided while I was doing all this to go ahead and paint the cabinets over the washer and dryer. I had already purchased bins for the open shelving and it made a big difference. The updates just completed the look I was hoping for.
I was at Michaels and AC Moore earlier this week. Theh had beautiful halloween wreaths. Even though they were on sale, I decided to make my own. I hit the Dollar Store-hard-and made my own! All items if not noted, are from the Dollar Tree.

My husband and I used to go camping all the time. But nowadays it just seems like way too much work. But I really do miss the smell of the forest and watching the campfire burn low as the sky gets dark. So, instead of spending too much time in longing, I’ve decided to pay homage to the campfire with these Woodsy Scented Campfire Candles, with real wood wicks.Read the full article and why soy wax and wood wicks are a healthier option. http://www.thehiphomestead.com/how-to-make-enamel-mug-soy-wax-candles/
