Have I already asked this one?I'm sorry, I don't remember. My 5 yr old would LOVE a fort, playhouse, clubhouse, treehouse, etc. The treehouse is not happening in s FL. Any ideas for some way I can make or adapt something affordably? Craigslist hasn't had anything.

You might buy a tent from something like Craigslist and paint it using outdoor paint to suit her and/or the space it will be kept in.

thx,I'Id beenlooking on Craigslist for a playhouse or shed, but hadn't thought of a tent.
  • How about a cool tent for the yard? Something like this or a bit more elaborate - http://www.pinterest.com/pin/92253492340913337/ We don't have any great trees in our yard for tree houses either. I don't think So Fla is made for that :(

@Anna [DirectionsNotIncluded] That looks like its my speed, and on a wooden platform, It would feel more like a treehouse or a safari, he could pretend all sorts of things. We definitely get the benefit of the weather down here, but no treehousses or tree climbing.:)

A tent on a wooden platform gives them the feel of an african safari. Since it is elevated a little it can even feel a little like a tree house.
