How do you clean the stains that accumulate on the upper sides of Gotham Steel cooper colored frying pans with out using abrasives?

Bar Keeper's Friend. It's commonly available at the supermarket near the other scouring powders and is as non-abrasive as Bon Ami, but is available in both regular and soft-cleanser

Hi, Baking soda mixed with a dawn. If you need to, adding a little lemon juice should do the trick.

    Good luck!

I don't understand the part of the pan they are talking about.

The inner side and up to the top edge, from the outer most bottom circumference to the top inner edge. The part you don't cook on but it gets a brownish stain that will not totally wash off, even in the top rack of the Dishwasher? Did I make it clearer?

The Vinegar and Baking Soda is not suppose to work on coated surfaces?

Thanks. That part of my pan does not need cleaning. The bottom that sits on the burner could use some help.
