Summer might be almost over but there is still plenty of fun to have with pool noodles! You don’t even need water for these pool noodle crafts.
I have a confession, making things with pool noodles is really fun.

I'm using mine for some outdoor furniture, a game, and a decoration.
All of my pool noodles were from Oriental Trading and they were each around 47 inches long. My first project was a pool noodle ottoman. I decided on 15 inches for the height of my pool noodle ottoman, which meant I got 3 pieces plus a leftover sliver from each pool noodle.
Once all the pieces are cut arrange them into rows and start sticking them together. I chose a rectangular shape and had 7 rows that were 5 pieces across.
With our outdoor seating finished my next pool noodle craft was to make a game. My youngest really likes playing Tic-Tac-Toe so I created a large scale version of the game with pool noodles.
The O's are easy to make. Use an entire pool noodle, bend into a circle, and tape it together. You will need five O’s.
After you make the O's you need to make the X’s. I wanted something that laid flat like the O’s so I cut 15 inch sections and then cut out a notch in the middle of each piece. The two notched pieces then fit together to make an X. You will also need to make 5 X's.
To make our Tic-Tac-Toe game board we used some additional pool noodles laid out on top of our outdoor rug.
While cutting the pieces for the ottoman and the Tic-Tac-Toe game you end up with some extra smaller pieces. You can use them to make a pool noodle garland!
Now we’ve got seating, a game, and some decorations all made from pool noodles. The next step is to host a party using all of our pool noodle crafts!

The noodles you get from Oriental Trading are they bigger than the ones from walmart? I just measured mine 51" long and 2 1/4" wide. I am asking because the link to O.T. in your Ottoman post they are $44ish for 24 that is almost $2 a noodle they are less than $1 at walmart so are they bigger?
