You know that shadow box frames are a great way to preserve a special memory. Here's such an easy way to make your special memories unique.

We want to help you DIY, so some of the materials in this post are linked to sellers. Just so you know, Hometalk may collect a small share of sales from the links on this page.
Materials I used for this project:
Begin by removing everything from the frame except for the glass.
Using a wax crayon, trace the edge of the frame onto the glass.
By doing this, you'll know how far in the edge of the frame covers the glass.
Where is the location of your memory? Mine is Jamaica.
What was the year? Mine was 2008.
Type out this information on a piece of paper as a mirror image (backward)
Place that paper behind the glass and paint the time and place onto the glass backwards.
Find clip art that illustrates your memory.
Place the picture under the glass.
Using glass paint, paint the clip art design onto the glass.
Allow the paint to dry.
By painting on the inside of the glass, this protects your designs.
Watch the video below to see how easy it is to paint on glass.
Use the back of the frame and trace it's outline onto a piece of scrapbooking paper that fits with your theme.
Cut it out.
Glue the scrap book paper onto inside of the back of the frame.
Choose pictures and adhear them on top of the paper.
After the painted glass has dried, place the glass back into the frame.
Add other momentos into the frame.
Place the back onto the frame.
Here is the final product! Watch the video below to see how I style it!
