It's a personal choice. Personally I like contrast. I would suggest white tiles with some dark green accented tiles . If you like the wood either darker or lighter - like a whitewashed

I like what you have here. I have stained concrete floors in my kitchen and they are just about this color. My cabinets are maple which is a little lighter than oak. If you are wanting to change, anything would probably work except dark dark. You would not be happy in about 6 months since dark shows every step. I just remodeled a house which was 115 years old. I used the original flooring of plank, sanded them and then pollie coated them. Turned out beautiful. They don't make wood like that any more. Hope this helped some.

Unless you want to go with ceramic, stone, or laminate flooring, I would keep the floors and paint the cabinets white. My cabinets are similar, with no hardware, but you may find some jade hardware to make the countertops pop. Best wishes ๐Ÿ˜‡

Color is so subjective. Everyone will tell you something different. Although, designers will tell you that the floors need to be darker than the walls and ceiling to make a room feel grounded. I suggest looking for a book by Christopher Lowell. To me, he is the most common sense designer there is.

Get rid of the countertop color. Paint it a color of your choice. Or you can tile the top with granite tiles. We did that 5 years ago and they still look beautiful! I too have oak cabinets but I have a tiled floor and as soon as I can afford it I will replace it with oak flooring. I like your kitchen. Except the green countertop. I hate green.

I would also leave the floor and paint the cabinets! It would really brighten up the whole kitchen if that's what you want! I prefer tile in the kitchen if you need to change the floors. So durable and easy to keep clean!
