I like small, pint size canning jars with lids for centerpieces, fill with dry flowers or what ever you want ,for favors home made table napkins or something simple that is home made . In our Church we will ask different people to help.

Hi! @Gloria W What colors are you using? For my wedding, I painted wine bottles to look like mercury glass, and used them as vases. Then used various height candles with them. in clear glass. I am selling some similar wine bottles in my shop. Here is a picture so you can see what I mean. https://www.etsy.com/listing/178222497/distressed-silver-wine-bottle?

Hi My daughter just got married and I made her favors - I purchased everything through etsy except the granola - I made that myself - visit my blog for the recipe www.muchloveroseblog.tumblr.com see attached photo below of the favors. So what I did was Make the granola - not too bad I started 1 month ahead and froze it in freezer bags. 5 days before the wedding I started bagging the granola in small sandwich bags and then put them into the green and white check bag I altered the green & white bag - I made it look like an envelope and punched 2 wholes into the bag for the tie. Kristin made the stamped faces. They came out so cute. She also had 4oz jars of honey

Gloria, my stepson was married (outdoors) in September. I helped the bride decorate for the wedding and we used mums, pumpkins, lots of 'fall' decorations, including the different colored leaves, acorns, pine cones, etc. She had about an 18" log in the middle of her tables that had a cut-out for tea light candles in the center, then we just arranged the laves, pine cones, etc. all around the log on each table. I cut out their initials S&J with my Silhouette machine and we used that as a stencil to paint the initials on the burlap table runners. She added grapevine and kudzu (dried) vines to an arbor, which also had the leaves, etc. attached to it. The cake was sitting on top of a whiskey barrel, with a board covered with burlap on top of it. The 'reserved' seats were decked out with burlap and fall flowers attached to them. Good luck!

Gloria, I used hydrangeas, too, and gel balls in the vases. Don't buy them at a craft store already "wet," but buy them as dehydrated balls. So inexpensive and they add such a nice touch. Congratulations on the wedding! http://www.hometalk.com/diy/dollar-store-centerpiece-2545800
