If you are looking for an easy project that can be done in a fraction of your afternoon, here it is. I used marble-look adhesive paper to give the top a protective surface. The wood top is an edge glued round from Home Depot. It is less than $6 near me. I used 3 wood Early American legs from Lowes that were $6 apiece and 3 angle brackets to attach the legs at $2.50 apiece. And there you have it my friend, a really nice little side table for $31.50. I had the marble adhesive paper, paint and stain on hand. This little table was my inspiration www.article.com/product/1503/mara-walnut-side-table Now, it is the real deal marble and mine isn't, but I still love mine just the same!

I started with this table round from Home Depot.

I painted it a dusty blue. I was going to go with white or gray to match the marble look but decided to try a slightly different look. Just a bit of contrast to add some interest to this little side table.
So here is the dusty blue table top, legs and angle brackets. That, plus a drill or a screwdriver, is all you need to make your table. As you can tell from my various chalk lines, the hardest part that I had was dividing the circle into three equal amounts.
I traced my circle onto the backside of the faux marble paper. I cut it out and applied it to the table top, smoothing out wrinkles as I removed the paper backing.

My table top is completed and my legs were already stained because they were from a previous project. Now it is time to attach the brackets. I already marked with black dots where they will go on the underside of my table.
The screws went in like a dream. Since these are angled brackets, you want the higher portion to the middle. If you aren't sure, screw in a leg and then you will see how it needs to be attached.
All three brackets are in place and time for the legs.
Now, screw in the three legs and you are done.
I wish all projects were this easy!
What a sweet little table...
If you have a small bedroom, it would work well as a bedside table.
Or I also thought next to the front door to keep keys on...
And with the marble contact-like paper on top, you don't have to worry about spills and damaging the top of the table.
So easy! I hope if you need a little table somewhere that you will give this a try. I have a bigger version with a twist in the works soon.

While I was out one day, I snapped a picture of this old wood window frame that was repurposed into this awesome sign!
One last picture as a bedside table... I don't go in Michaels very much but just happened to go in while the 80% Summer Clearance was going on and that 3 bottle vase was 99 cents!!! Now that is a deal! If you have scored any decor deals lately, let me know in the comments! Sharing is caring! LOL! icon

Where did you get the marble contact paper?

I know this is off topic, but I noticed you had some older copies of Readers Digest on your table. Do you know anything about them? I have 3 and have no idea where they came from. Please share what you know.

I love this table, I am going to do one. Does anyone know if that old window is painted? I just had some removed last week and want to repurpose them. Thanks in advance.

Now that you've told me I can get these real wood table rounds at Home Depot, I have already planned my table project. Thank you so much for sharing that.

They even have a larger sizer for just a few dollars more! So reasonably priced. 👍

I love your beautiful table, I have been wanting to make a round three legs one forever. This table below I made with legs and brackets from Lowes and the sticky edging tape from Homedepot. I stained the table dark and kept the legs natural stain. Thanks for your help with doing a round table.
