Wedding Chair Decorations

Both of my sons are getting married this summer. I know.... So, naturally wedding decorating ideas are on EVERYONE'S mind! I am participating in the Hometalk/Michaels Pinterest Party this Sunday, so here is one of my projects. This is a simple, easy, and inexpensive way to decorate the bride and groom's chair for the reception!
You want to purchase two 12" x 4" burlap canvas from Michaels. At first, I thought I would stencil the letters onto the canvas. THEN I found these iron-on letters. Hello! That cut my time in half!
I used a paint pen to add my period after Mr. and Mrs.
I nailed my ribbon to the canvas, but you could also staple it.
For this demonstration, I used artificial flowers..
I nailed the flowers to the back of the canvas. Hang one flower slightly lower than the other.

Very pretty! My stepson was married (outdoors) in September and I helped his bride make table runners from burlap. I cut out their initials and the ampersand and then we used the vinyl as a stencil, then she applied the paint. They turned out really pretty.
