Climbing Combo

Three years ago I added a climbing rose next to my clematis. (Same colors as pictured) and they look great together !

Do I have to plant sweet peas every year
I had thought of this combination for my upcoming arbor, but want plants that won't die back and look ugly in Winter. I am in Gulfport Ms. on the Gulf Coast and it seems like my clematis has 2 bloom times during the year, but dies back in the off season. Do you know of a climber that is evergreen and blooms?
