My Kitchen Remodel

After having lived with 45 year old cabinets that were falling apart and two separate rooms it was time to take it all down and start fresh/including the wall and floor. Took us about 8 weeks but it was worth it. We now have counterspace, and island, a place for the microwave, that we did not have before. Hope you like it as much as we do.
Old cabinets and counter. Floor is already removed in this pic..was old tiles.
This is looking through the new much wider and moved opening so as to make room for a pantry inside the kitchen. To the left of the stove used to be a wall that is now gone.
New opening...view of front hall. Old living room flooring is still in this pic. Oh yeah, we changed that too during this 8 week time.
Oh boy. No one said it was going to be easy...lol.
Bulkheads removed to make room for ceiling height cupboards.
Almost done...still need to hang the lights and the pot rack, place some knicknacks in better places..but we were tired when this pic taken...lol. It was a long 8 weeks, it was worth it and we love it.
Island with pot drawers. Gotta have pot drawers.
Spice pullout next to the stove.
Pullout pantry drawers. Our food used to have to be in the hallway closet...now we have room for everything and more.
Some ceiling detailing.
Our lemans pullout. Goes into the dead corner so as to utilize storage.
Dividers over the fridge for trays.
