Incredibly Easy Fall Wreath With Dollar Store Items!

This is the easiest (and inexpensive) DIY Fall Wreath! If you haven’t made a wreath before, this is an easy one to start with. I stopped by my local Dollar Tree checking to see if their Halloween decor was available yet.

When I spotted these really full sprays of colorful fall leaves. Not only did they have great leaves, but they also had a big variety of Fall and Thanksgiving related signs. This sign certainly doesn't look like a dollar store item!
I had a 24″ grapevine wreath hanging in a closet and thought it would be the perfect base for a quick and easy fall wreath. I hang my wreaths on a door in my studio when I am working on them. It is easy to hang them on a secure Command hook.
I put a new rope on the sign and then tied it so it hung in the center of my wreath.
The arrow below is showing you where I tied my hemp rope securely around the top of the wreath. Knot it well so it won’t come loose.
I took all of the tags off of my leaf sprays and started sticking them firmly in between the vines. Weave the length of the stem back and forth among the vines so that your spray is secure.
I like making wreaths like this, without gluing things to the wreath form so that I can take it apart and re-style the wreath for a different holiday. This is one of the advantages of using grapevine wreath forms. I also think grapevine wreaths are reminiscent of the harvest, so they fit nicely for fall projects. I didn’t cut the sprays apart, I just used each one as it was to get a fullness of leaves to my wreath. This is with four of the sprays of leaves attached.

My finished wreath, ready to display! I only spent $14 on this wreath by using a grapevine wreath I already had, but should you need to buy a wreath, you can get a 24″ grapevine wreath at Michaels. With one of their 40% off coupons, you could do this entire project for just $20. I love how full the leaves are on this wreath.

I love it! My only question is how did you spend $14? You only talk about 5 things(4 leaf sprays and 1 sign) from the dollar store and the wreath you already had.
