Yes, Many Styles would look good with Grey and many other colours can be used to add interest,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
no color is "in" forever. skip the whats hot paint colors if you are not putting your house up for sale. put the colors that make you feel relaxed and cheerful on the walls.
Do you like grey? If so it will be around for as long as you want.
Helpful hint: pick colors that you look good wearing!
Whatever the "designers" deem trendy - choose what looks good with your home and furnishings.
colors come in colors go out. pantone is the company that sets the "hottest" of the "New" colors that come out for home decor etc. screw them. paint your walls in colors that make you feel happy and lift your mood. the exception would be if your house is going on the market soon. then you would want to paint neutral colors on the walls.
I totally agree with Dfm! When you see the color grey, doesn't it bring back colorful memories of playing with doodle bugs or bad laundry washes? Use any color that YOU like, but give me WHITE and sky blue and I am HAPPY! Hallelujah!
Well said, stick with what make you happy
Do not look at long term if that is what you wish to have go for it
