How to remove coconut oil from stain resistance fabric?
Tried sprinkling baking soda, left it on for 1 hr, brushed it, then washed it with dawn, this idea I got from the Internet. After it dried stains were still there. Please help me remove the oil stains, I don't want to cover all my kitchen chairs?
Thank you

I used to use Shout or Resolve to remove oil stains from clothing but they no longer work. I have tried using the Sunlight soap bar with the Shout but still no result... See more
I use Shout Advanced Ultra Concentrated gel. It has always remove every type of oil stain I had.
Try a degreaser recipe with boric acid and vinegar, there are several di y recipes online
Mix one tablespoon of Dawn dishwashing liquid with two cups of cool water. Using a clean white cloth, blot the stain with the detergent solution. Blot until the liquid is absorbed. Repeat until the stain disappears.
If the stain remains, mix one tablespoon of ammonia with two cups of warm water. Sponge the stain with the ammonia solution. Blot until the liquid is absorbed. Sponge with cold water and blot dry.
Do not use bleach. It will actually set the stain and may harm the fabric.
Try cornstarch and leave it on there for an hour or so . Brush it off with an old toothbrush .
Here are a couple more ideas. Oil stains can be difficult.

Thank you all for taking the time to answer my question....I certainly am going to try one of these suggestions...if that doesn't work I will try another. 😄
I would try corn meal and put a hand towel over the spot and sit on it for a day or two and then brush off, then mix Dawn and warm water to blot the stain out and can use a soft brush to scrub.
