Why doesn't my Hibiscus blooms open fully?

My Hibiscus bush has multiple blooms, but they only open to about half. Do I need to put something on the bush to make the blooms open up fully?

Try 1 tablespoon of epson bath salts to one gallon of water. Plants love epson salt.

They need full sun to open. Here are mine. I had one in partial shade and the did not open. Moved the plant and this is what I got.

Thank you!...It does get sun in the morning, but not in the afternoon. Probably needs that afternoon sun...

There could bemoan reasons involved, not enough water,or sun, heat stress, possible insects as thrips or aphids.Check the underside of the leaves for the insects,if that is not the case feed the hibiscus with a low nitrogen but high phosphorus fertilizer.

I have few areas that get full sun, many are only an hour or two a day and I have four hibiscus that have usually about six full blooms each day. Make sure the plants are watered as they want to be moist, but not wet feet all the time. I have mine in self watering pots and I leave the reservoir empty for at least a day before I refill it. I use extended release fertilizer and make sure when I fill the pot to give the top of the soil a squirt of water to make sure It gets into the soil. Other than that, I don't really do anything to them. One plant had aphids for a few days, but I noticed an extremely ugly spider took up residence and they disappeared after a couple days and so did the spider when they were gone.
