The moment we have been waiting for, for almost four years! We are adopting in just a few short weeks! I don't want pieces that lack character in my nursery I want pieces that make a bold statement.
It all starts with a great eye, when I look for a potential piece to add to any space.
I choose my colour, usually paint I have left over from a pervious project.
This was paint we had left over from our bathroom renovation.
What a difference! I didn't sand the dresser...I didn't have any time to waste. With a sibling group coming every second is very important.
The paint went on very well, and the dresser only needed two coats!
To make the drawers slide in better, I rubbed a candle along the drawers runners. Much smoother.
I let the piece dry for 3 days before adding any clothes. To ensure there was no smell and the paint was drY. Love it!
