How to hang drapes on my porch?

How about installing a curtain rod on the siding and hanging up a drape on that?

I hung cheap curtain rods from Lowes and bought outdoor curtains at end of season on sale. I hung the rods on the inside of the lip of the porch.

Hang up some shower curtains! They're already waterproof, and sometimes you can get them at dollar stores or for crazy cheap. You could use pvc pipes or even run a line of cabling to hang them on to keep it lightweight.

My first thought was magnetic curtain rods.

I hung closet rods and used curtain rings with hooks to hang painters drop cloths (canvas). When they get too dirty, I toss them in the washer. Thinking of dyeing them a different color. Hmmm.
