What to Do With All This Snow? Water Your Plants With It!


Instead of complaining about the snow... Use it to water your plants; they will LOVE you for it! See how!
In my studio, I cut the tops off some empty, clean gallon water bottles, leaving the handle in place.

Holding the handle of the plastic bottle, pinch the opposite side of the plastic together making a spout

Put on you coat and shoes and have some fun scooping up snow in your containers

Make sure it is packed in good... shake the jug to pack the snow in.

Place your snowy jugs in a warm place for a few hours

After the snow has melted, rubber band a coffee filter to the top of a clean bottle

Pour the water through the filter.

    My father-in-law was an avid gardener and always said that snow was good for the ground because as it melted it seeped into the ground slowly taking good nutrients in with it.
