you could add pieces of trim and paint it or cover it with foam and fabric ...I would then tuft it in a diamond pattern
Paint is your first and quickest option, I would also add trim to make it more visually intresting.
You can cover it with a pretty fabric to brighten it up. You might even want to use foam so you get more of a cushioned headboard.
Purchase a large piece of foam and blue to the heAdboard after laying it down flat. Find fabric like and place on top of the foam. Staples to the back of the heAdboard making it tight
I themed decoupage would be great on that! I am actually hoping to find a headboard similar to that for my daughter. I plan to decoupage a comic book hero and villain theme on it
