Channel childhood memories and build a sand castle that won't be washed away by the tide with this easy recipe from whole wheat flour, salt and water and some basic craft supplies.
A fun sand castle to build when you can't get to the beach
This easy recipe includes whole wheat flour, water and salt. Shells, glitter, sea glass and craft sand add flare. I built mine on terra cotta saucers as a base.
A cardboard base provides support and quickens drying time which can be a day or more
makes a fun centerpiece or summery decorative accent when displayed with a picnic basket, shells and beach themed accents
Suggested materials:
  • Terra cotta saucers   (Lowe's)
