What type of door to cut down noise in a hallway to bedrooms

Our bedrooms are on opposite side of house to living area. We all work at different times of day and nights what type of door do you suggest we put at end to of hallway ?
Solid core doors. Most newer homes have hollow core.
Solid door backed up with Curtain rail across and heavy curtain should help.
Try using a mid weight curtain and tension rod instead of going to the expense and mess of installing a door. That way much of the sound will be absorbed by the heavier fabric, you can also use a tie back to hold the curtain aside when you want it open. Also a narrow accent rug with anti slip underneath will help absorb echoes in the hall without totally taking away from the hardwood floor appeal.
Agree with Naomie Moore, a solid core door is much more protection from noise. A light sleeper in our house uses a draft stopper at the bottom of their bedroom door to keep out noise, and it's amazingly effective.
Many homes have hollow core doors in their interior. Consider replacing the door with a solid wood door and if there are open spaces between the door and the frame, use self adhesive felt weather striping on the door frame to fill the spaces. If there is a crack between the bottom of the door and the floor, try filling it with a throw rug which corresponds with the depth of the crack.

A thick runner carpet with a good underlay the length of the hallway is very noise absorbing. Although they are not cheap, they do the job without any installation or construction.
